KP Media is a ¹ 1 media holding in Ukraine, with a 15 percent share of the country’s magazine market and a 50 percent share of its Internet market. Currently, the company has more than 10 large publishing projects such as Kyiv Post, 15 minutes, Korrespondent, Novynar, Kyiv Business Directory, Afisha, Pink, Pani, Vona, Interior Magazine, Ideas For Your Home. It is the owner of such internet projects as BigMir.net, Korrespondent.net, Pink.com.ua, Afisha.ua, Ricardo.com.ua, Novynar.com.ua.
September 1995 – Jed Sunden launches KP Media with USD 8,000 and 6 employees, hitting USD 15 mln. revenues/year at 2006.
March 2000 – Jed Sunden is declared Persona Non Grata in Ukraine.
September 2000 – KP launches bigmir.net, soon to become ¹ 1 internet portal in Ukraine.
March 2002 – Launch of Korrespondent news magazine, soon to become ¹ 1 newsmagazine in Ukraine.
July 2006 – KP Media complete IPO on PFTS; placing 20% of shares for USD 11 mln.
